Flame-throated Bulbul

Rubigula gularis

The Flame-throated Bulbul a slim, noisy, relatively inconspicuous bulbul with very short, ragged occipital crest and has ruby-red throat, relatively short, very slightly rounded tail. It is generally about 19 cm in length. It is black-capped with olive green upperparts and yellow underparts. Both the male and female are similar in plumage. The Flame-throated Bulbul feeds on fruit and insects.
