Blue Barleria

Blue barleria is a shrub with many hairy branches, growing 1-1.5 m high. Oppositely arrange elliptic lancelike leaves are 10-15 cm long. The leaves are hairy, with a talk 1-2 cm long. Flowers occur in hairy spikes at the end of branches. The 6-7 cm long flowers are blue in color, and shaped like other Barlerias. Two stamens prominently protrude out of the flowers.
